An overachieving private school high schooler is killing it at school with everything except his studies. He's president or founder or both of a dozen or so school clubs and he's an endless playwright putting on his next production. Enter Bill Murray who inspires him with his attitude and the two form a real friendship that is threatened when they both develop crushes on the new first grade teacher. The characters are nicely oddball and well played by actors who are all related to someone else in Hollywood and the music score is tremendous with some great Cat Stevens.
You either dig what director Wes Anderson does or you don’t— I do.
