- If you don't like The Three Stooges you've probably only seen the ones with Curly-Joe, Joe or sometimes even Shemp. I used the think the Shemp one's were as good as the Curly one's but after rewatching them recently I can say with certainty they are not. There is a lot of wit in the Stooges shorts from 1934-1943 which is prime Curly. Many of the Shemp ones rely on REALLY dumb humor, and don't get me started on the Curly-Joe and Joe shorts and features, I won't even watch them.
- My wife looks like a cross between Mary Tyler Moore on the Dick Van Dyke Show and Mrs Peel from The Avengers. I'm a lucky guy.
- Speaking of both-- classic TV and Movies are classics because they're good, not because they're old. There is a lot of old that is just bad. The 60s had a lot of great TV; THE AVENGERS, BATMAN (first season), GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, LOST IN SPACE, LAND OF THE GIANTS, WILD WILD WEST, ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, DRAGNET, BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and GREEN ACRES just off the top of my head.
- I'm not sure what's up with our mail delivery. We seem to have a different mail person every other day and we get mail anywhere from 10am - 5pm. At our old house you could set your watch to the 2:30 mail delivery services of the one and only Norm.
- I've got a few books in the pipeline, I can talk about BLACKWOOD from Dark Horse. You can pick it up at your local comic shop next week-- it's written by Evan Dorkin and art is by my wife Veronica and myself.
