We decided this year we'd get back into some classic TV at night while we unwind-- so while we do watch TOP CHEF as it airs live on Thursdays at 10pm on Bravo and FIXER UPPER Tuesdays at 9 on HGTV the rest of the week we dive into some classic TV. I tried something a little different this year, I typed up a schedule and we watch these shows (or at least we try to) on the nights they originally aired. So rather than binge watch a whole series we have the anticipation of a week to get to the next episode.
Among the shows we're watching they breakdown like this;
Sundays- Columbo, Land of the Giants
Mondays- Northern Exposure, The Avengers (shown above; the Steed and Mrs Peel version)
Tuesdays- The Simpsons, Fixer Upper
Wednesday- Batman (Adam West) First part episode
Thursday- Batman (second part episode)
Friday- Kolchak The Night Stalker (original version)
Saturday- Movie night
We don't follow this all that tightly-- we don't spend every night inside but at least when we're home and looking for entertainment we have something to go to.
