It's followed by THE ROARING TWENTIES (1939) and a bunch of other gangster films from Warner Bros-- this is the night.

Friday at Noon is DEAD OF NIGHT (1945) which is a genuinely creepy little film from England that is regarded by many as one of the best chillers ever made.

KEY LARGO (1949) Is the Essentials this week, and it IS essential, Bogie and Bacall's final team-up is well worth your time and the pic pick of the week.
