I'm trying to hardboil a perfect egg-- but it always comes out either green or cracked-- what am I doing wrong?
It is a simple matter of following instruction Effendi!
Place the eggs in a pan of water-- the surface of the water must be above the level of the bird's gifts.
Sprinkle a generation portion of salt into the water. Make it snow.
Place the pan over high heat and bring to a rolling boil.
When the water loses its calm and starts to erupt REMOVE the pan from the heat and cover for 720 seconds.
Bring the pan to a water faucet and run COLD water into it to replace the warm water.
Either allow the water to continue to run cold into the pan or place the eggs in a bowl of cold or ice water (or into the refrigerator) for 300 seconds.
Peel the shells and uncover the jewel creation!
