Graphic Novels at FAM!

From Werewolves of Wisconsin (c) Andy Fish & McFarland Press

The Fitchburg Art Museum brought in the GraphicLit comic book and graphic novel show which we spoke at during it's run at the Norman Rockwell Museum (they curated it) in Stockbridge last year.  Well, we're doing something similar in Fitchburg this coming Sunday the 23rd of October.

From 1-230pm we'll be doing a presentation on Graphic Novels, their history, their strengths and how they are different from comic books.  We'll look at the medium's closest relation by comparing some of the evolution of film and how it affected storytelling in comics and graphic novels.

Then from 245-4pm we'll be offering a hands on lesson for anyone that wants to give it a try-- who knows, maybe you could be the next big graphic novelist!  The amazing thing about graphic novels is that they can tackle virtually any subject and have!

Come on by and check out the show, sit in on our presentation or take the workshop-- or do all three!
